This track was inspired by the life the Austrian psychoanalyst Wilhelm Reich, who has interested me ever since I discovered Kate Bush's classic 'Cloudbusting' was about him and his son Peter.

During his later years Reich proposed theories and inventions which made him a pariah with the US government, including a claim to be able to manipulate the weather. Reich tragically died in prison following his arrest by US authorities.
